영성과 전문성을 갖춘 하나님이 기뻐하시는 합창작곡가를 그의 음악적 비전으로 삼고​ 따뜻한 선율과 화성을 통해 많은 이들에게 감동을 전하는 그는 지금까지 800여 곡에 달하는 작품을 작곡 및 편곡하며, 다양한 음반과 악보집을 통해 널리 연주되고 있다.

그의 음악적 비전은 사람들의 마음을 울리는 아름다운 곡을 창작하는 데 있으며, 성가곡을 비롯해 가곡, 뮤지컬, 일반 합창곡 등 다양한 장르에서 왕성한 활동을 이어가고 있다.

국내에서는 월드비전 합창단, 인천시립합창단 등 주요 합창단에 의해 그의 작품들이 연주되었으며, 코러스센타, 중앙아트 등 여러 출판사를 통해 다수의 곡들이 출판되었다. 특히 그의 작품은 한국을 넘어 국제 무대에서도 인정받아, 영국의 권위 있는 출판사 Oxford University Press로부터 크리스마스 캐럴집 *‘World Carols for Choirs’*에 작곡가로 위촉되어 작품이 수록 및 출판되는 영예를 안았다.

그의 음악은 깊이 있는 영성과 독창적인 음악적 색채를 바탕으로, 국내외 합창 무대에서 꾸준히 사랑받으며 새로운 감동을 만들어가고 있다.

Hyun Chul Lee is a composer known for his ability to balance spirituality and expertise in his music, crafting pieces that bring joy to God.

With a deep commitment to his musical vision, he has composed and arranged over 800 works, admired for their warm melodies and harmonies. His music is widely performed and featured in numerous recordings and sheet music collections.

His compositions have been brought to life by prestigious choirs, such as the World Vision Choir and the Incheon City Choir, in various genres, including sacred music and musicals. His works are published by prominent Korean publishers like Chorus Center and Joongang Art, ranging from sacred songs to art songs and other general works. He has also gained international recognition, having been commissioned by Oxford University Press to contribute to the Christmas carol collection World Carols for Choirs.
